SAN GODENZO (FLORENCE)
Situated at about 40 km. from Florence and only few km. from the peaks of the "Appennino tosco-romagnolo", into a natural and uncontaminated environment, surrounded by woods of chestnuts, oaks and olive-groves, in a lovely sunny spot. Farming and breeding are conducted under family management.
We have double bedrooms with private bathroom and independent apartments with all conforts where you can feel the warm atmosphere of characteristic rooms with typical architecture of the old tuscany farmhouses. Swimming pool for adults - with hydromassage - and for children, sauna, archery, barbecue and farm oven are available for our guests, play-ground. Pets are welcome.
Excursions to the villages and to the woods all around and to the near "National Park of the Casentino, Mount Falterona and Campigna Forests" can be done.

· BY CAR o The A1 freeway allows for an exit to the north at the Barberino di Mugello pay-point and to the south at the South Florence and Figline Valdarno pay-point. o There are also a number of interesting state and local roads originating in the other parts of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna BY TRAIN o There are two important tracks in this land: The old and fascinating railway track "Faentina" that starts from Florence C.M., goes through Vaglia, Borgo San Lorenzo and the Appennine reaching Faenza in Romagna. The railway track Borgo San Lorenzo-Pontassieve-Florence Santa Maria Novella, that goes along the Sieve River and has stops in many municipalities of Montagna Fiorentina. Some lines of local public transport also allow movement inside this zone.
